WHY IS OUR CHOCOLATE SO GOOD:

1.) Conching – During the chocolate manufacture process, beans are ground and then remixed with cocoa butter, milk and vanilla to get the final flavor profile. This is a process called conching and it is this process that determines that smoothness of the chocolate. Longer conch times produce smoother product.

2.) True Chocolate with real Cocoa Butter – In order to fight rising costs, some manufacturers have chosen to replace cocoa butter with other oils. While this does help them reduce their costs, we argue that it also reduces the quality of the product.

3.) Cocoa Butter & Milk Content – The percentage of cocoa butter and milk in a chocolate blend can vary its flavor tremendously. Mountain Man has worked for years to get this blend just right.

TASTE TESTS OF THE WEEK:

Canyon Crunch:  This garlic flavored pretzel and bread sick mix is a perfect snack when entertaining guests. For Sunday's Broncos vs, Raiders game our guests devoured the one pound mix before halftime. Reminded me of the chex mix my mother made when we were kids with a slight taste of Worcester sauce. Excellent!

Choice Mixed Nuts:  A nut lovers delight! The roasted jumbo cashews, roasted peanuts, roasted almonds, brazil nuts, filberts, roasted macadamia nuts, and roasted pecans are the best mix I ever tasted...my wife Bonnie agrees!

Natural Pistachios:  I am addicted to these. Once I start cracking, I can't stop until the whole bag is done! What I noticed was almost 100% of the shells were open for easy crackin! Excellent.

Whole Turkish Apricots:  While these imported apricots are excellent for your health and a great snack to put in your kids lunchbox, I found them to be somewhat bland. This is strictly my opinion and I believe they are worth trying if you are a dried fruit lover.

What A Great Idea!!
Jon Fairchild, our distributor in Sioux Falls, South Dakota tells us he puts Mountain Man Jalapeno Pretzel Pieces in tomato soup and it is incredible!  Come to think of it, that does sound pretty good……

Try using Inferno as bits on your salad. We have been told it is so good, one customer takes it with him when he goes out to eat for his salad!

Since my wife and I eat a lot of chicken, we are always looking for something different. We put Sesame Sticks in the blender and rolled our chicken breasts in the crumbs. Cook at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Fantastic flavor.
